Jane’s website launched

Dear friends and family,

I have finally launched my own website which is very exciting – see http://www.janeupchurch.co.uk . I want to use it to share my writing more widely, and am also hoping it will create a platform for my book, ‘A Spoonful of God’, which is looking for a friendly publisher.

I am featuring a new piece (called ‘Words of Keeping’) on the home page every fortnight or so, and will also add to the other sections regularly.  When I do I will email everyone on my list so you can keep up to date easily.  Do tell others who might want to receive it, and unsubscribe if you don’t.  This is the current Words of Keeping on the home page.

Wild places

The hazel and hawthorn trees dapple the foxglove and campion.  The bracken breaks through like a bishop’s crook, the brambles arch and the nettles gather.  They hold silence like a living quality of air, broken by birdsong and bees hum, and the river stroking stones in the hollow.  There is a magic quality to wild places that restores the soul.

I hope you will explore the whole website and add comments on pieces that interest you (you need to register first) as the other fun part about having a website is being in contact with some of you this way.

With love,

Jane
